Sally Holmes

Climbing Rose

An arching climber, covered in hydrangea-like clusters of buff to white flowers from late spring to summer and on into fall. The petal count is low - 6-8 per bloom - making each open faced flower unique in shape and form. 'Sally Holmes' has excellent disease resistance. Grows to 12' high and/or wide, with large clusters of blooms which start out pink-toned in cooler Spring weather becoming paler and then more white as the weather heats up. Glossy green foliage makes the perfect backdrop for the lovely blooms.. Excellent for covering trellises or fences, and can be pruned hard to keep low (and more shrub-like) if desired.
