'Bathsheba' is a welcome addition to our English Climbing Rose collection. Long, elegant, apricot-yellow buds open to classic, shallowly cupped rosettes, each about 4" across, filled with many tightly packed petals. The blooms are a beautiful blend of colours, with the upper side of the petals being a subtle shade of apricot-pink and the under sides a lovely soft yellow, giving the overall impression of rich apricot. The outer petals of each bloom are creamy in colour, creating a charming halo-type effect. There is a superb, beautifully rounded myrrh fragrance - floral and warm in character, with hints of honey. As the flowers age, the fragrance develops an element of Tea.
