Rosa Foetida - from 1590

Old-fashioned clusters of showy, single petaled flowers with a blinding color can literally cover this tough shrubby species rose. Its natural hardiness and brillian color make it popular in harsher climates. Sometimes produces all yellow flowers. Suckers cheerfully, if allowed, making it useful for nearly impenetrable hedging. 6-8' High and indefinitely wide.
