Clematis 'Minuet'
Delicate, bell shaped, four petaled flowers are so perfect they almost don't look real! Perfectly white petaled are veined and edged with a bright purple pink, surrounding a greenish yellow eye. This relentlessly floriferous climber has hardy, deep green, vigorous foliage practically hidden behind the abundance of nodding, hanging flowers that bounce and sway in the summer breeze. Winner of the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Pruning: In late January/early February, cut to 6-8” from ground level to a pair of buds. Then cut by half after the first flush of blooms is finished. Feed after each pruning session with well-balanced fertilizer.
