Clematis 'Boulevard Ravel'
A floriferous array of luxurious, deep purple flowers with streaks of magenta down the length of each petal cover the compact, vigorous foliage over a long flowering period. These stunning perennial vines are easy to grow and incredibly rewarding, and their compact habit makes them a perfect choice for adding height to a container or planter box, filling in lush greenery in a covered porch or patio, or covering a low fence or garden art in the landscape. These beauties can even be used in a hanging basket! Pruning: In late January/early February, cut to 6-8” from ground level to a pair of buds. Then cut by half after the first flush of blooms is finished. Feed after each pruning session with well-balanced fertilizer.
